Plastic Air Valves

Air – water balance in the system determines valve air valves are called. Air valves are called suction cups. During the filling of the pipeline; the evacuation of the air in the line, air in the system will drain out quickly. For different reasons, it enables the release of small amounts of air accumulated in the pipeline during the operation under pressure. In order to prevent vacuum formation during pipe discharge, it prevents cavitation hazards by balancing the system pressure with atmospheric pressure.

Plastic Suction Cups (Air Discharge Valves) Are Two Types;

  1. Single effective(kinetic) plastic suction cup (Air discharge valve) ½” – ¾” - 1” and 2” single effective
  2. Double effective (automatic) plastic suction cup ½ ” – ¾ ” - 1” and 2” double effective models are available.
Plastic Air Valve Connections

½ ”,  ¾”, 1” and 2” threaded connections. Plastic Suction Cups (Air Discharge Valves) Usage Areas;

  1. Agricultural irrigation,(pump outputs, lines on the main line, each 400-500 Mt, slope start points, peak points uphill slopes, every 400-500 Mt, slope start and ends should be used before the line and irrigation valves. (Figure also specified points)
  2. Filtration systems, (disk filter, hydrocyclone, Gravel tank, automatic horizontal filters, etc.) filters
  3. Industrial Areas as well as factory installations, purification systems, etc.
